We are still accepting applications for the 2024-25 school year for PreK - Grade 10 in Rolling Admissions.

We are now accepting applications for PreK - Grade 10 for the 2025-26 school year.

Applying to BASIS Independent Manhattan is a selective, multi-step process that varies depending upon the entry grade. Be sure to download the appropriate application checklist, linked below, to help you keep organized on your way to a complete application:

Before creating an account, please be sure to add manhattan-admissions@basisindependent.com to your safe senders list so you receive appointment confirmations and admissions decision notifications.

TO ACCESS IN-PROGRESS APPLICATIONS: You only need one account per family even if you are applying for two or more children. Login below, then click on the DASHBOARD link at the top of the page to view and edit all of your existing student applications and begin a new one. If you do not remember the email address associated with your account, please contact a member of the Admissions team using the contact information provided to the left. Checklists by grade are available for download below.

CURRENT BASIS INDEPENDENT MANHATTAN FAMILIES:
You only need one account per family, even if you are applying for the sibling(s) of a current BASIS Independent Manhattan student. Login below, then click on the DASHBOARD link at the top of the page to see all of your existing student applications and begin a new one. If you do not remember the email address associated with your account, please contact a member of the Admissions team using the contact information provided to the left. Checklists by grade are available for download below.

NEW FAMILIES:
Please create an account below. You only need one account per family even if you are applying for two or more children. If you have more than one child, you must submit separate applications for each sibling, and you can do so from your DASHBOARD. You will use your login and password to check on your application status throughout the admissions cycle.

If you would like to submit applications to our other New York campus, BASIS Independent Brooklyn, you will be given the opportunity to do so after you complete the first application.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS (available at BASIS Independent Manhattan Upper for Grades 6 - 10):
BASIS Independent Schools partners with Amerigo Education to manage international applicants (except for applicants from BASIS International and Bilingual Schools) who require a F-1 student visa. International applicants must first contact Amerigo Education to apply and begin the admissions process. Amerigo Education prescreens applicants, gathers all required materials, and coordinates appointment scheduling for BASIS Independent Schools.
